Eaufactory is a mobile fragrance app designed for iOS and Android.
The Problem
Searching for the right fragrance can be difficult. Some buy expensive designer fragrances without testing them on their body. Some are not aware affordable, near identical alternatives are available. Eaufactory helps its users make informed, cost effective decisions when fragrance shopping.
Problem Statement:
Shoppers need a way to make informed decisions when searching for a fragrance, as fragrances can be expensive and product performance varies based on the wearer’s body chemistry.
Goals
Eaufactory offers features unavailable across other competitive mainstream fragrance apps, which ultimately helps its users achieve three goals:
1) Save money by exploring more affordable alternatives to designer fragrances
2) Locate free samples nearby to test on skin
3) Document fragrance experiences in a quick, streamlined process
Key Features
Search and Sort
This feature is the heart of Eaufactory. The app helps users organize fragrances by price, similarity, and rating.
Competitive apps researched do not offer the ability to sort by price.
Find Fragrance Nearby
Eaufactory locates stores nearby where one can test fragrances and acquire samples.
Currently, no apps offer this feature, which offer Eaufactory an edge over its competitors.
Save to My Fragrances
With “Save to My Fragrances,” Eaufactory helps users diary their experiences with a streamlined system, from rating to categorization and notes.

User Flow
Finalized Wireframes
Streamlining the "My Fragrances" user flow
Initally, users were going to be offered different folders to save fragrances into (e.g. wish list, interested in, fragrances I own, etc.)
Instead, I made a "Create a Custom Folder" feature in My Fragrances, so users can name their own groups.

Granting users the ability to write reviews and read other users' comments
